Foam Lab Testing
Foamlab Fire Technologies Sdn Bhd offers a worldwide foam testing service. Our purpose built foam testing laboratory and graduate staffs enables us to offer a full laboratory service for all Foam Concentrate and Produced Foam types.
As recommended by NFPA11, BS.EN 13565-2:2009 and BS 5306, Foam Concentrates and Produced Foams should be inspected and tested at least annually as part of your fire fighting foam maintenance programme.
All test reports are written in plain English. We will aim to send your report to you by post, email or fax within 3 working days of receipt of your sample.
Produced Foam Test Report
Produced Foam Testing to International Standards
Each Produced Foam Test Report shows the calculated % induction obtained from the sample of Produced Foam provided. This result is compared against International Foam Standards NFPA 11 and BS 5306.

Foam Concentrate Test Report
Evaluation of Fire Fighting Foam Concentrates
The purpose of a Foam Concentrate Test Report is to evaluate if the sample of Foam Concentrate tested is in satisfactory condition and, most importantly, to enable the customer or laboratory to confirm the foam is within the manufacturer's specification.

Each Foam Concentrate Test Report assesses the following properties:

Appearance (visual)

Specific gravity (ratio of density to water)

pH (according to international standards BS EN 1568 and BS 1647)

Viscosity
-
Surface Tension (according to international standard ASTM D-971)

Sedimentation
-
Expansion (according to international standards BS EN 1568 G and NFPA 11 Annex D)

25% Drainage (according to international standards BS EN 1568 G and NFPA 11 Annex D)
